Hi, Happy April!
This is going to be a new feature of my web-site. Every few months I'll write and let you know what's going on with my life and my books.
This month I learned that my recent book, MY DOG, MY HERO, has won the Louisiana Young Readers' Award. I'm so glad the readers enjoyed my book - actually it's OUR book because I wrote it with two of my daughters - Laurie Myers and Betsy Duffey.
This month my husband Ed and I are going (in our new motor home) to a glider meet in Perry, SC. There will be about eighty pilots, each with his own glider and each day they'll have a race to see who goes the fastest. That's what my husband will be doing. I'll be listening to the radio, and if he lands away from the airport, I'll hook up the trailer and go get him.
